LED halogens and spots are types of light sources that are usually mounted in suspended ceilings, but surface-mounted luminaires are also available. This type of lighting is characterized by minimalism in terms of both design and size, making it perfect for kitchens, bathrooms, corridors and all small or low rooms where the functional use of every centimeter of space counts. Or maybe traditional halogen fixtures?

A similar solution to ceiling spots are ceiling halogens, i.e. elegant fixtures recessed into plasterboard ceilings, but they do not have an attached light source. This is a great advantage, because it allows you to freely choose the type of power supply: low 12V or traditional 230V and to select any light source. Thanks to this, we can compose a ceiling fixture that is most suitable for us, which is not always possible when the fixture has an integrated LED source.

A halogen bathroom luminaire should have an increased tightness class and a much higher level of IP protection. Very often, such luminaires are installed in wet areas, i.e. in the shower and above the bathtub, where the risk of flooding is much higher, which is why luminaire manufacturers have prepared a special waterproof series. Such luminaires usually have glass that protects the light source from the ingress of water and steam, so they are safe and resistant to contact with a water jet.
