Why is it worth using rail systems and track lamps?

The rail systems and lamps on rails that we offer in our store are not only easy to install, but also allow for individual configuration and complete adjustment to the illuminated interior depending on the user's needs or the completed project. Rail lighting has completely replaced cable systems, is very modern and although it primarily serves as functional interior lighting, both general and additional accent lighting, in many cases it is also a decorative addition to a given room: residential, office or commercial. Rail lamps allow you to freely change their number, location and even the type of luminaires installed in the interior with almost one move and at any time. This makes it easier than ever to adjust the lighting to the evolving function of the interior and does not require additional changes to the structure of the room and the electrical installation. The ease of assembly and disassembly of the lamp in the lighting rail allows for the use of different variants depending on the situation, changes in the arrangement of the table, desks or place to relax.

Recessed, surface-mounted or suspended rails - 3 ways of mounting light sources

In our offer you will find all the most popular solutions for mounting rails. In high rooms such as: galleries, shops, offices, companies, etc., rails can be suspended from the ceiling using cables, the length of which is up to 150 cm. However, this is not a cable system used in the past, but an additional form of mounting lighting. In houses and apartments and rooms of standard height, recessed or even more often surface-mounted versions are most often used, thanks to which they can be adapted to many different spaces. They are used as internal lighting for kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, hallways, and offices.

Modernized design and completely new track lighting such as: spots, track spotlights, or hanging lamps are a step into the future that we can already offer you today. LED track systems contain fixtures and light sources, in other cases the fixtures do not contain light sources and LED bulbs must be purchased separately. In 99.9% of cases, track lamps from different manufacturers fit most of the tracks available on the market and should work flawlessly, but we advise you to use branded products and avoid very cheap track lighting of unknown origin. This will give you the most satisfactory effect, and the track systems will serve you for many years.

Differences in 3-phase and 1-phase systems - electrical installation

The 3F (3-phase) system is certainly a more modern solution, it can be used both as a 1-phase rail, i.e. all the lamps on the rail are always turned on or off together without the possibility of dividing into sections, but it also gives the possibility of creating 3 different circuits on the busbar, which allows you to control each circuit separately and light only what is needed at a given moment. This is undoubtedly a more optimal solution, which will work well with a larger number of lamps on the rail and longer systems. It should be remembered that this option of switching on the light requires connecting a cable with 5 wires, which should be planned much earlier, i.e. already at the design stage or at the latest during the implementation of the electrical installation.

The vast majority of lamps available on the market, and coming from reputable manufacturers, are made in a 3-phase system, and only some products in our store's offer operate in the 1F system. The length of the rails is also an important issue, 3F rails are also available in longer sections: 1m, 2m and 3m, which makes it easier to build any design or a longer system using the appropriate connectors. The 3F rail can also withstand 3 times more load than the 1F rail, which will be important for a larger number of fixtures or a long system, and the lamps used can also be stronger and work very stably. From the above, it follows that even if our rail system is simple, short, the cable is only 3-wire, and all the lamps light up together, it is still worth using 3-phase rail lighting! Remember to choose lighting from the same system, i.e. 3-phase rails and 3-phase lamps, 1-phase rails and 1-phase lamps! In other cases, the installation of such lighting will not be possible!

Track systems - rail and fixture colors

Rails for the 3-phase system are always available in 3 colors to choose from: black, white or aluminum, all accessories, connectors and power terminals are also available in the same colors. Fixtures for the rail system are available in a much richer color range, but this does not change the fact that the most popular colors of the fixtures are black and white, which are also the most fashionable and most frequently chosen colors in the case of ceiling lighting.
